Juan graduated with honors as an industrial engineer from the Pontífica Universidad Católica del Perú. After graduating he started his professional career at the Banco de Crédito as deputy head of the fixed income department. At the same time he initiated a project that focuses on providing better education for children from low-income families at state schools. Currently he is doing his masters degree at the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston. Here he works in the Technology Exchange Lab, a charitable online platform for technological solutions in order to solve problems of poverty and sustainability.
