Between October 22nd and 28th, 2016, I visited our program in Perú as the country responsible. The highlight was the participation in the welcome ceremony for the new scholarship holders, during which the new scholars committed to the "compromiso de honor". In this context, it was noticeable what a crucial role the Fundación Educación scholarship played in the lives of these young people, and that they are very aware of the responsibility involved. In addition, I had the opportunity to meet with representatives of our partner institutions, TECSUP, UTEC and PUCP, as well as, in a private setting, with former scholarship holders.
Based on various meetings with the local committee and our managing director, Bertha Aspillaga, I was able to confirm that our funds are used according to our specifications.
