After Juan Carlos became a scholar of Fundación Educación in 2016, his academic path brought
him great challenges and satisfaction. Most recently, he was awarded the «Manuel F. Ayau Scholar
2017» Prize, an award given annually to a student of the ITA («Impulso al Talento Académico»)
program in recognition of his uniqueness and talent. Juan Carlos stands out for his willingness to
understand life, to master difficulties and to seize opportunities. The motto, «the way is hard, but it
is harder to leave the way», accompanies and motivates him from an early age.
