Luis, 30 years, is from Huancayo, Junin. He studied at the TECSUP, at his own expense, and
graduated 2006 as Maintenance Technician. Thereafter, he enrolled at the UTEC, where he
graduated as a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering in 2016. At this university, he became more
proficient in the areas of research and project planning. This helped him to win the competition
"Vivir la Ingeniería" (VLI) ("Technology Live") in the category of technological development. His
winning project was also accepted as his bachelor thesis. About sixty projects by students and
lecturers participated in the VLI, which was held on the UTEC campus. Currently, Luis participates
at a joint research project between the Cleveland Clinic USA and UTEC Perú.
