On July 1 of this year, Diana Carolina Farías Pérez joined the Peru Local Committee as Executive Director and Mentor for our scholarship program in Peru.
Diana holds a degree in Business Administration and has experience in higher education and nonprofit organizations, having held leadership roles in admissions, employability, accreditation, financial aid, philanthropy, alumni relations, and international cooperation. This background has given her firsthand insight into the dynamics of higher education and the nonprofit sector, as well as the importance of coordinating efforts among institutions to strengthen young people’s educational pathways. Her knowledge and experience, as well as her supportive approach to working with young people, will enhance both the educational and interpersonal aspects of our program in Peru.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rosa Blanc Solano for all the support she has provided over the past two years of collaboration with Fundación Educación in Peru.
Meanwhile, the Local Committee in Colombia is being strengthened with two new additions. Daniela Cano Ramírez and Brayan Stiven Arboleda Perea will take on important responsibilities to support our scholarship recipients and strengthen the alumni community.
Daniela is a social worker and is taking on the new role of Executive Director of Scholarships and Mentor in our program in Colombia. Daniela has also studied business management and is about to complete a master’s degree in Family Counseling and Family Program Management. She has valuable experience in providing individual, group, and family support to children, youth, and their families. Her empathy, listening skills, and experience will be essential to her new role. Daniela will closely support the academic, personal, and professional development of our scholarship recipients. We are confident that her commitment and sensitivity will strengthen our scholarship program and open new opportunities for our talented young people.
Brayan will assume the role of Alumni Coordinator on the Local Committee. Brayan is a brilliant former scholar of Fundación Educación and a graduate of the International Business program at EAFIT University, where he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing. He serves as a business development manager at Spendbase, leading sales teams and contributing to the company’s growth. Since 2025, he has also been an active member of CESE (the Alumni Organization) as an administrative coordinator, supporting its financial and administrative processes and helping organize activities for our community. His experience in marketing, sales, and relationship-building is combined with a deep understanding of the Fundación Educación and the significance of the Compromiso de Honor. In his new role, Brayan will strengthen the ties between alumni, scholars, the Local Committee, and the Board of Directors. We are confident that his talent, creativity, and leadership will give a major boost to our alumni community in Colombia.
