During the virtual award ceremony on April 9, 2021, our Alumni Henry Chapoñan Lorza received the Peruvian Company of the Year 2020 Award - SME Edition, Category "Health", Category "Drugstore" for his outstanding performance and business management. He was also awarded the certificate "Testimonial of Excellence SME 2020".
Henry is the general manager of Chapolab SAC. The main purpose of the company is to improve the quality of life of those sick and low-income Peruvians who wish to have quality medical and laboratory materials in a timely manner.
Born in 1985, Henry studied Administration and Accounting at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and graduated in September 2008. He was a scholarship recipient of Fundación Educación from 2006 to 2008. Thanks to his successful university career he made his first professional experiences at PWC Peru and then joined KPMG. In August 2014 he was selected to the one-year MBA program at HULT graduating in August 2015. Since then he has managed and gradually expanded the business of Droguería Chapolab SAC.
