We would like to inform you about some important changes in our Local Committee in Perú, which is at the same time the Board of Asociación Educación.

It is with great emotion that we say goodbye to Bertha Banchero de Aspíllaga who has decided to formally resign from her position in Asociación Educación. Bertha has not only been with us since the beginning of our adventure in Peru 28 years ago, but it was she who, together with the founder, Dr. hc Ernst Keller, and the directors Jorge Gruenberg, Juan Mulder and Colin Darbyshire, formed and made the scholarship program in Peru flourish. Her extraordinary commitment to our organization, the excellent work and her passion quickly made her "mother Bertha" for our scholars, who have enjoyed her love, support and advice. Thank you infinitely for all you have done for our "chicos" and for the organization! Bertha Aspíllaga will continue to accompany the development of our scholars, and as she herself says, this is not a goodbye but a "see you later".

We are pleased to inform you that we have a new member in the committee. This is Pamela Ortiz, who like Nancy Vega and Pedro Crisóstomo was also a beneficiary of Fundación Educación's support. Pamela has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a specialization in Finance from the Universidad del Pacífico. She has led financial planning and revenue management teams at Alicorp. She is currently Corporate Trade Marketing Manager at Backus in charge of developing innovations and commercial planning. Welcome Pamela to your new role and thank you for your commitment to our young students and the cause of the Foundation!

We are also pleased to inform you that Nancy Vega has assumed the position of Vice President of Asociación Educación to second Juan Mulder, President. Many thanks to Nancy for taking on this new role for the benefit of the Local Committee and all the scholars of the Perú Chapter!

The Board of Directors of Asociación Educación is composed of a total of six directors who are supported by an executive secretary and an assistant:

Juan Mulder, President
Nancy Vega, Vice President
Pedro Crisostomo
Claudine Gruenberg

Paul Mulder
Pamela Ortiz
Liliana Sarria, Executive Secretary
Carmen Rosa Rojas, Assistant
