Corporación Educación Suiza EAFIT (CESE), the alumni association of Fundación Educación in Medellín, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. CESE is an organization independent of our foundation. Its purpose is to promote exchange between our alumni and scholarship holders on the one hand, and on the other hand to secure the work of the foundation for the long term, promoting educational opportunities for young people from low-income families. Our foundation board member Franz Stirnimann took part in last year's anniversary celebration.
The occasion was the kick-off for an intensification of CESE's activities. The focus will be on a series of events for alumni and scholarship holders, the CESE Talks, the increase in returns from the Compromiso de Honor, and fundraising activities in favor of CESE's own scholarship program.
