The above sentence comes from Albert Einstein – undoubtedly, one of the most prominent scientists and thinkers of modern times. His short statement summarizes the essential elements of good education. Accordingly, good education goes beyond the mere accumulation of knowledge; rather, it serves to promote and nurture critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Hence, if we are to achieve a «better world», we urgently need well-educated people – worldwide, but especially in developing and emerging countries. This has been the mission of Fundación Educación in Latin America for 30 years: «We Empower Talent for Change».
Thus, it is our great pleasure to present to you our Annual Report (link). I hope you enjoy reading what our teams in Switzerland and Latin America, but above all, what our scholars and alumni have achieved over the last three decades. Yet, more importantly, we hope you feel our passion for what we aim at achieving in the decades ahead!
On behalf of our «Gran Familia Fundación Educación» muchísimas gracias to all of you for your continued and strong support! We value your trust in our work very much and can assure you that also in the future every cent that we receive for our 5 chapters in Latin America will be invested in the most efficient and productive way!
