We feel very honored and grateful that the Rising Tide Foundation has decided to renew and enlarge its grant to Fundación Educación for our scholarship program for 2020-2023. The grant allows us to pay the tuition fee of up to 20 promising young talents from underprivileged backgrounds studying currently at one of the leading universities in Perú, Colombia, El Salvador and Guatemala.
The disastrous impact the current pandemic is having on Latin American societies and economies has highlighted the immense value of a qualitative higher education. A solid education has a lasting value and is a precondition to find a way out of the crisis based on one's own resources and by coordinating the effort of many.
With the Rising Tide Foundation we share the belief that access to quality education is foundational for advancing freedom and prosperity. As access to quality education is limited for most Latin Americans, a scholarship is a lasting investment in unlocking the potential of many young people and providing the basis for future progress.
