Juan Esteban Arroyave, former scholar of Fundación Educación, resigns from the Local Committee of Colombia after many years of service. In his place, Julio Betancourt Prisco joins the Local Committee effective immediately.
We take this opportunity to thank Juan Esteban for his long and active association with our Foundation. He wants to focus on family and career in the future, we wish him continued success on his future path.
Julio is also a former Fundación Educación scholarship holder and studied mechanical engineering at EAFIT. After completing his bachelor's degree, he was involved in various research projects at EAFIT in the field of agro-engineering and then went on to complete a master's degree in 2014. He is passionate about process optimization and innovation in manufacturing and energy efficiency. Today, he is the operations manager for all innovation projects at a young Colombian company dedicated to optimizing energetic processes. He is also a board member of our alumni organization CESE.
