Industrial Production and Management, TECSUP

In April 2019, I participated with colleagues in the Hult Prize, an international entrepreneurship competition, with a project based on potato biofuel. As the winner of TECSUP, we were allowed to travel to Bogotá; however, we had to find sponsors for the travel costs. But the manifold experiences and the numerous contacts to students of other top universities and schools were worth the effort. Our presentation was in English, so my personal investment in English lessons has already paid off. In my two professional experiences I have learned how important communication, teamwork and effort are. I would like to gain even more experience and learn tools and methods in order to establish a start-up together with colleagues in 4-5 years. In the future, I also want to support students so that they can complete their studies without financial worries and thus create a better future for themselves.

Since my graduation in July 2019, I have also been involved as a volunteer in an NGO called «Techo Perú» to fight poverty in my district of San Juan de Lurigancho. The grant of Fundación Educación has given me all these opportunities.
